USHAN CAKIR

Born May 23rd 1984

Ushan was born in Izmir. He graduated from Istanbul State Conservatory. His career mainly began in 2005 he has played many roles on stage at various theatre’s. He has made several movies including Cingoz Recai and Sev Beni.

His TV career started with Belali Baldiz, since then he has appeared in more dizis including Leyla ile Mecnun, 20 Dakka, and probably the one he is most recognised for is the role of Celil in Kurt Seyit ve Sura. It was reported that while filming Leyla ile Mecnun he had an altercation with actress Ezgi Asaroglu, they both had their contracts terminated .

He has won awards for his stage performances and also received a Best Actor award for the film Sev Beni.

At present he has been linked to joining the new season of Ufak Tefek Cinayetler.

He isnt very active on social media, but still has 81k followers on his Instagram. He got engaged in 2017 to Damla Sonmez but really keeps things very private. I enjoyed his performance in Kurt Seya alongside Kivanc,we will have to see what his confirmed parts will be for the upcoming season.
