He remained there for 10 episodes. In 2017 he got his first movie role, that of Cuneyt in Cengiz Recai, Despite having a very good cast including Kenan Imirzalioglu and Meryem Uzerli the reviews weren’t very good.
His most recent role was in another period drama, Vatanim Sensin. playing the role of Leon a Greek lieutenant. He along with his acting partner Miray Daner have won a few awards for their roles in the series. He said that he auditioned five times for the role and was the last cast member to be confirmed. The next project that he will be involved with is the new series directed by Hilal Saral, Sahin Tepesi based on the American TV series Falcon Crest. Boran has helped raised money for several charities including a school. fresh water source and food for villages in Africa. He says that he forgets that side of his fame but its good to be able to use it for good things.
He is active on social media with 415k Instagram followers. He is quite an interesting character. He would have liked to have been born in the 1960’s in England. His favourite movie is Manchester by the sea, he really admired the acting performances. He would love to appear in a scene from Game of Thrones. If he could play a character in a movie it would be Hermoine in Harry Potter, yes he did say Hermoine.
Boran obviously is a very good actor and appears to have found his niche in period dramas. I would like to see him in a present-day drama or even a drama/comedy. I’m sure Sahin Tepesi will gain him more exposure for his future career.
