She spent most of her early childhood days in the city of Ulus district. She attended Yildiz College and went to pursue a degree in Mimar Sinan University. She finally graduated in theatrical studies.
She loved to play team sports, especially volleyball and was attached to a number of professional clubs in her youth. Sadly in 2005 her Dad passed away and this had a profound effect on her, and says that this is where her hardships in life started. After a few theatre appearances and some more acting training her first TV role was in Kurtlar Vadisi.

Between 1998 and 2006 she had roles in 2 movies and another three TV series. Then came the role that literally changed her life. She was suggested for the role of Sehrazat in the series Binbir Gece ( 1001 Nights ) where she co-starred along side Halit Ergenc. It was while acting together that they fell in love. When the series ended in 2009 they got married that summer. Berguzar continued with her career , made another film then came the birth of her son Ali in 2010.
Comihg back into acting quickly she starred in Bitmeyen Sarki, in a leading role, then a guest appearance in the massive series Magnificent Century, where her husband was the lead actor. Between 2012 and 2015 she starred with Kenan Imirzalıoğlu in Karadayi, possibly one of the best acting partnerships Ive watched. In 2016 she again starred alongside her husband Halit in Vatanim Sensin which ran for two seasons. A very successful career so far with a total of 12 awards.

Even though she is married to another very well know actor, she prefers not to divulge too much information about her private life. In interviews she has said she eats organic healthy food, and likes Paris but after visiting London she loves it there more.
