Born May 19th 1984
Recently Ended her Relationship – Single

Asli was born in London, England, she is the middle child of her family, with a brother and a sister. Her Dad is Turkish Cypriot and her Mum is Turkish, they met in London and married, Asli is still a British passport holder. The family remained in London until 1996 when Asli had completed her primary school education. She also loved to sing and won singing competitions in the UK.

Moving to Turkey Asli was unable to speak Turkish, it was only her life experience and high school that helped her to be fluent, without an accent too Im told. She studied at the Fine Arts school and also graduated in theatre studies at the Halic University. Her first TV role was a small guest part in the series Uzay Sitcomu, followed by a supporting role in Hayat Bilgisi, this then lead to her getting the main role in the Turkish version of Dawson’s Creek.. Kavak Yelleri, hugely popular she acted the role for 5 seasons. She has had seven lead roles in the following series, Kavak Yelleri, Suskunlar, Kayip, Bana Artik Hicran De, Mutlu Ol Yeter, Kis Gunesi..and her current role in Istanbullu Gelin, which is going to a third season.

Asli has appeared in three films too Tamam Miyizi, Kardesim Benim, and Oteki Taraf. As mentioned in her childhood, Asli is a very talented singer, and has sang songs on movie soundtracks, and also on several occasion within the story line of Istanbullu Gelin. In 2015 while filming Kardesim Benim she started a relationship with singer/actor Murat Boz…this relationship has sadly recently ended.

I love Asli, shes fun, naturally beautiful, a very talented actress and singer. She has a strong support network around her, you can see from her social media she loves spending time with family and close friends, some of who are her fellow cast members from Istanbullu Gelin. It may be a while until we see Asli in another TV series due to Istanbull Gelin carrying on, but Im certain whatever she chooses to do will be very successful.
